Sofia Short Fest officially announces its partnership with Photosynthesis, a cultural space and leading platform for photography, visual arts and creative technology.
As part of the overall initiative, Photosynthesis will support the authors of all award-winning films at the festival with vouchers worth 300 BGN , valid for products and services in their network.
In addition, Photosynthesis will also host one of the special events in the festival's program at their amazing CafeSynthesis, which will bring together artists, professionals and the public in a conversation about the future of short filmmaking on June 14 at 11:00am . The discussion panel on ,,Short Film Distribution". Lyubo Yonchev, representative of Crystal Frame, Simeon Tsonchev, representative of Mono Collective and Yuliyan Spasov, representative of kinematograf.bg will touch upon issues such as the role of short film distributors, what we need to prepare as documents and materials when distributing our films, what is more important when distributing short films - money or viewers, and a number of other cases.
Sofia Short Fest will take place from 13 to 15 June 2025 in Sofia, with screenings, discussions and special events at several key locations around the city.
