The jury for the first edition of the Sofia Short Fest
After several months filled with hard work and tough decision-making, we are proud to present the jury for the first edition of Sofia Short Fest. We intended to build a well-balanced, insightful, and multifaceted film jury and we made it. It includes some of the most acclaimed directors, actors, producers, and film editors in the Bulgarian cinema scene. The festival’s competition will be held in three main categories – live action, animation, and documentary, separated into two equal groups – professionals and students. That’s how we arrived at the idea of two jury committees.
Master’s competition:
Stefan Komandarev - director
Ivan Barnev - actor
Katya Trichkova - producer
Student’s competition:
Martina Apostolova – actress
Teo-Kosara Popova – director
Bohos Topakbashian – producer and editor
