Teodora-Kosara is a director with extensive and diverse experience in documentary and live-action short films. In 2020 her documentary film "Tanda" received a prestigious nomination for the Student Academy Award in the Foreign Documentary Film category, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Her short films have been selected and awarded at numerous national and international festivals, including Sofia International Film Festival, Cinelibri, Golden Eye, the Festival of Bulgarian Cinema in Paris, Festival Internacional de Escuelas de Cine (Uruguay), Hong Kong International Documentary Festival, Kyoto International Film Festival, Bergamo Film Meeting, and many others across Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Teodora-Kosara has also been actively involved in the international festival circuit. She was a youth jury member at the Otranto Film Festival (Italy) in 2018 and Sofia International Film Festival in 2019. In 2024, she joined Film O’Clock International Festival as the Bulgarian coordinator, as well as the CineEuroConnect project.
