Stolipinovo, also referred to as "the largest Roma ghetto in Europe", is a neighbourhood on the outskirts of Plovdiv, the second largest city in Bulgaria, where so-called Roma/Gypsies live in contact with other minorities, such as the Turkish minority, and - obviously - in a situation of marginalisation and isolation. However, most of them manage their lives through different strategies of emancipation, self-determination and self-employment. In this documentary we try to critically examine the concept of "identification" by giving voice to people living in these peripheries.
