The movie starts with a romantic date between Alex (Producer) and his girlfriend Rebecca, who have been separated for a while. Alex wants to get together with his girlfriend but she refuses and leaves Alex alone on the rooftop near the swimming pool.
In the next scene Playwright and Producer meet up with the actor Lee with whom they want to negotiate about the recent events in the theater. The three of them discuss in a bar the last role that has been given to Lee - the role of Jesus Christ. The Director of the play has given the Role to Lee despite his origins - Lee is a Vietnamese actor. Playwright does not agree with this decision because his vision of Jesus Christ is very specific - he wants him to be blond with blue eyes. The Producer is a mediator between the two sides who cannot reach an agreement - Lee wants to play the role very much, he has already received it on the casting and also has a contract with the Director of the theater and with the Director of the play. The debate reaches to dimensions where Steve and Lee start a fight. Neither anybody agrees with the other side, nor they make compromise, until Playwright says something with a double meaning - he says there is no way for Lee to play the role unless he acts with white make-up, a wig and blue lenses. Catching this little discrepancy, Lee agrees and walks away; Playwright is furious and leaves the meeting.
Alex (Producer) goes back to his hotel room and takes a deep breath over everything happening to him. His girlfriend left him, the meeting was unsuccessful. He realizes he really needs to fix his personal life in order for his work to go on well. In other words, he needs to transform and start acting in a different way, giving out some different material to the Universe, so that he gets what he asks for. Therefore he writes a message to Rebecca, asking her to come back, promising that he will behave in a different manner. Right after that Playwright also sends a message to Alex saying the Vietnamese actor has received a different role in Vietnam and will go abroad.
In the end of the day it is not important whether the role of Jesus is played by a Vietnamese or not or in which country the actor is going to act, but what all the characters need is love, personal and professional fulfillment.
